Excellent sound and easy to install.

Took a chance on this turntable after reading much research and review reading online, so glad I purchased it! Super easy set up out of the box, had it up and going in about 15 minutes. Flawless performance, the Ortofon 2m blue cartridge is a great compliment to this table. The Direct Drive system is completely quiet, and I absolutely love that the tonearm lifts automatically at the end of a record and stops the platter from moving. I would highly recommend this turntable to anyone!

1) The turntable was easy to set up,it took within 7 minutes. 2) The quality is excellent as compared its cost. 3) It's better to note the Equalizer switch located at the position under the turntable(plate), ant it was on position. To prevent from damage your speakers,you should turn to off position if you connect to PHONO of the amplifier or receiver. It is not easy to find the switch. 4) I suggest that you may upgrade it by changing the cartridge ( After using Shure N97 XE, the sound is smooth as Blue label Johnnie Walker! ) The position of the stylus should be located as indicator shown in the Shure box. ( My Shure N 97 XE s were also bought from B&H by my friend in USA. I don't know why I can't buy them directly from B&H in Taiwan)

There's no way around the fact that there are many great turntables on the market right now. It's hard to pick a table because of how many tables offer attractive designs, great features, and build quality. U-Turn, Pro-ject, Technics, and many other brands all offer great products. However, when I found out about the Denon DP-300F, I was sold. Great reviews indicated almost unanimous satisfaction with the table, and the Denon name has been associated with quality products for years. Great specs and a clean look paired with automatic operation made this table an obvious winner in its price bracket. I placed an order and waited for my new table to come in the mail.

As soon as my turntable came in the mail, I opened it up and set it up. Setup was easy and took all of 15 minutes, and from there I was off to the races. I threw my copy of Journey's Greatest Hits on the table, hit start, and was blown away. Great sound quality and super smooth operation from the automatic mechanism. A few records later and I'm beyond pleased with my new table. I've no doubt that this table will last me a long time, as evidenced by the fantastic sound it provides. I don't often write reviews, but I am so happy with the performance of this turntable that I had no other option but to leave a review. It you are on the edge, all I can do is recommend this table. You will absolutely not regret your decision to do so.

Outstanding turntable for the money, Very well made - and plays beautifully!

This is the turntable I have been looking for. It has automatic start and return and has a built in EQ that allows you to run this table with a modern receiver that does not have a phono input. My receivers have phono inputs so I don't know how well this feature works. The only complaint is that the output of this table is not as high as my previous Technics table. This may simply be a matter of the stock cartridge which is serviceable, but pretty low end. I have purchased an Ortofon cartridge that may raise the output level, but I have not installed it yet. I'm going to run the table stock for a few weeks to get a baseline for comparison of the new cartridge. B & H had the best price on this table that I found and they shipped it out quickly. If you are looking for a good table at a good price, buy this one from B&H Photo.

Okay, lets get real here. I unpacked the turntable, the assembly was straightforward, the anti-skate went well. I've played one side of one album to test and it works great. B and H did great. Denon could explain how the tone arm lift works without power (doesn't lower). Looking forward really using the turntable in earnest, soon. I do appreciate the switch to equalize to phono or line-in levels.
