Q: 3. The majority of difference between n-2204x and n-3204x model?

A: I don't know since I haven't used the n-2204x model. I have the n-32o4x model which I feel compares favorable to my Gitzo carbon fiber.I have several Sirui products including their gimbal head and I now tend to buy them as my preferred brand.

Q: 4. has anyone used this? how does it compare to a wimberly? are vibrations damped well or poorly? thanks!

Q: 9. If I pair this with a RRS MH-1 will it be a stable platform when used with a Canon 5DIII and a second gen Canon 400mm 2.8?

A: I used this on an offroad African safari. Nikon D810; Sirui G-20x head; Nikon 200-500 mm zoom. Worked like a champ. Does exactly what a mono pod should do which is provide extra stability for long lens shots. Very compact and light weight which makes this nicer than my sturdy but heavier Manfrotto Monopod.

Q: 10. Can anyone measure the diameter of the smallest leg section ? Thanks

A: The lowest leg section (smallest diameter) is 5/8 .

Have never used a monopod in the past, boy was I missing out. This light weight but strong monopod will help me take better pictures while traveling where a tripod would get in the way. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.

This is a well-made, lightweight monopod. It has two fittings to connect to a camera. The foot has a metal tooth to use when needed. I added a rubber cap that I got at a local hardware store for the foot just to keep dirt out. There’s a strap, with compass and snap link that can be removed. It is a great buy for the price and I recommend it for those occasions when you need to steady your camera. I saw one that a friend bought and had to have one. I highly recommend it.

Its very light and compact. The closed length is great for travel. I use it for my Canon 70D with Tamron 18-400. It is sturdy enough for this camera and light enough to take anywhere
