$135.00 $179.55

The 77mm UV Lens Filter from Urth protects your lens from scratches, dirt and water. It makes the images clearer and sharper by cutting out UV haze. UV light can create a blue color cast, but this UV filter cuts out 99.6% of ultraviolet light, helping sharpen your images, especially in hazy conditions. Keep the UV filter on the lens at all times without affecting exposure settings. If the camera is dropped, the UV filter may be the difference between replacing a filter and replacing a lens.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the focus motor create noise that could be heard while taking video?

A: The focus motor does produce noise while recording video.

Q: 2. Would this lens fit a Sony A200? If so, good results?

A: This not possible that I know of as this Lens is designed for E-mount cameras while A200 is an A-mount camera. So you will not be able mount the lens. Why not just buy the a-mount 35 mm f/1.8 lens, with the added benefit that it will cost you $200 less.

Q: 3. If this lens manual and autofocus?

A: the lens itself has NO manual-autofocus switch, but it can be use in each way from the camera control

Q: 4. How does this lens compare with the Zeiss Milvus 21mm f/2.8 lens? (I realize the Zeiss is manual focus and requires an FTZ converter for use on Nikon mirrorless, and these are not factors for me.)

A: The Nikon Nikon NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S Lens is f/1.8. it is better than a lens that is f/2.8 in low light. And the Nikon one is made for mirrorless designed cameras compared to the Zeiss Milvus 21mm f/2.8 lens.

Q: 5. Is this the same XF 18mm f2 R lens that I used with my X-E1 back in 2014 or is this a new updated model?

A: This lens was originally released in 2012.

Q: 6. Is this a good lens for astrophotography on the z6 ?

A: For shooting the Milkyway or aurora borealis or star trails, yes.

Q: 7. Does this have coma in the corners when wide open at 1.8?

A: According to Camera Labs (https://www.cameralabs.com/nikon-z-20mm-f1-8-s-review) The Lens very good overall and reccomended, But does exhibit Longitudinal colour aberrations and magenta haloing.in the corners when shooting in Full Format DX. In APS=C mode performance is excellent.

Q: 8. Will this lens fit/work well on the Fuji EX2S camera?

A: Yes it does. And like all the fujifulm lense, is very sharp. If wish it was a bit smaller though - a real pancake style lens. The 27 is the only one they make that is that small, and it's terrific. Makes the camera pocketable - in a big pocket of course.

Q: 9. What country is this lens made in?

A: South Korea

Q: 10. How does this lens compare to the Nikkor AF-S 20mm f1.8? Thank you.

A: If you are looking to compare the newer Z-mount Nikon NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S Lens to the older F-mount Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 20mm f/1.8G ED Lens, I have not seen any comprehensive lens tests comparing the two lenses listed above. That being said, from images taken with the two lenses, the Z-mount lens appears much sharper compared to the F-mount lens used on the same camera with the FTZ lens mount adapter. The Z-mount lens used wide-open at f/1.8 appears sharper than the F-mount lens used two stops down at f/2.8. In addition to the above, the Z-mount lens also is sealed from dust and moisture, and has Nano Crystal coatings and Super Integrated coatings for improved optical performance and easier cleaning. While both lenses are good, optically, I would recommend the Nikon NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S Lens.
