Q: 1. I have a panasonic cx 350, would this camera work with this rig?

A: Yes, the top handle of the Panasonic CX350 has mounting points that will allow you to attach either the 1/4 20 stud from the Easyrig 400N Standard Cinema 3 quick release. However we suggest looking at the Easyrig MiniMax for your camcorder the weight support is more inline to the weight of the CX350 when using the Easyrig MiniMax. Q: 2. this mentions only working with the "standard arm". Does that mean if you have a 9" gimbal arm, these are incompatible?

A: No, they would be compatible.

Q: 3. Hi. I am considering this with the Flowcine Gravity One. Do I need to order the Cinema 3 or the Gimbal Rig to work with that? I assume the Cinema 3? Camera is a Varicam35. Thanks for a quick reply.

A: Sounds like the Cinema 3 will do the trick. I cant remember the weight range of Cinema 3 but be sure that your total built camera is in the weight range or you will not be happy with the performance of the EasyRig. I went with the Vario because I expect to run different size and weight cameras on my Gimbal rig. Good luck!

Q: 5. going to order one of these, was wondering which size arm to get- is it more based on the body of the cameraman/ type of camera rig/ or type of movement?

A: Arm selection is mostly based on type of camera. No extension=ENG handlheld camera over your shoulder. 5 Extension=for handheld cameras like RED or caged DSLR. 9 extension is for very large cameras. You also have to select the weight so that the string matches the load as well. Having used the Easyrig I can say it is a useful tool. In certain situations, it is the only one to use.

Q: 6. Especially for documentary work, would this be a recommended option for the new Sony fx9 (with the extension unit, v-mount batteries, external monitor, etc.)?

A: This system is designed to work with a camera set up between 11 to 38 pounds. Just as long as the camera rig you have set up is between 11 to 38 pounds this system will work very well.

Q: 7. would this work with a camera that will weight around 14-17lbs?

A: Where the string comes out, it is fixed. To vary the string point, you use different arms.
