This 95mm UV Lens Filter (Plus+) from Urth cuts ultraviolet light to sharpen images while protecting lenses from scratches, oil, knocks, and water. By cutting UV light's blue haze, the UV Plus+ filter improve sharpness and clarity in photographs, but doesn't affect camera settings, which means it can be left on a lens at all times. UV light's blue haze softens details and image quality, especially on hazy days. This UV Plus+ filter cuts out 99.6% of ultraviolet light for sharper details.

I bought this filter to protect my $ lens investment. It does exactly what Imwanted it to do. I am able to leave it on while shooting with great results. 5

In my view, this is a 4 star filter in overall quality but it's affordable like a 3 star filter so to me, that's a 5 star score. It's all I need. It's a standard filter with no anomalies in how it operates. 5

it has a thin profile and looks to be of better quality than cheaper filters. I have not made direct comparisons, but i saw a review on lenstip where they did a comparison on multiple brands, and Hoya came on top most of the time, scored higher than more expensive solutions. if you have good lenses that cost several hundreds it may be worth to spend $ more to have UV filter protection with better optical quality.I always use a UV filter when shooting outdoors. I leave it on instead of the lens cap. 5
