Olympus have came a long way with their live view relatively large sensors camera. I wanted the EP1 when they first came out but I decided to wait and I'm glad I waited. Focus is fast enough for what I use the camera for. The combination of IS and the lack of mirror really helps eliminates blurry images. The dials are much smaller than my E420 which takes a little bit of getting used to, and the functions that you can choose to assign to the function buttons are limited. One of my concern when making the purchase is the focus speed with the 17/2.8 lens because from my understanding, the zoom lens would be alot quicker than this lens, but this lens is not slow at all. Which is a great relief. Would definitely make this purchase again.

I love this camera. I've had about a week now and I can't put it down. I'm having so much fun experimenting in all the modes. So far, I have not experienced anything negative with this camera.

Amateur Photographer, was looking for a more portable camera than my DSLR and am so glad I chose the Pen E-P3.Light weight, feature packed and takes great pictures.

The EP-3 is:1. a delight to handle and use ; 2. a camera with great resolution. Since we now have the choice to use great low light micro four third primes with the EP-3, I finally feel as though I have found the perfect camera system for my particular needs. What is needed now in the system is a high quality micro four third zoom for use in low light, such as the regular four thirds 12-60 Oly lens. Aside from that, the image quality is really terrific, with great exposure and impressive Oly colors, in as snappy a performer as you'll find in any camera.

I am using the Olympus PEN E-P3 for general photography and a few family portrait shoots. I have previously owned the E-PL1 and E-PL2, but this E-P3 is the best one yet. The autofocus is much faster, and the overall response of the camera is noticibly quicker. It feels solid too. The touch screen is a nice addition, and the touch focusing option is great for macro work. The focus assist lamp is fantastic and certainly aids in low light focusing, but it might be obscured when using a larger four thirds lens (with the adapter of course).

I brought this camera a few months ago to get started with photography. I spent many days reading reviews and comparing. I wanted something small and light that I can carry with me while I'm snowboarding, but at the same time I wanted something that produces stunning images. Look no further people!! The kit lens does justice and has a wide aperture for taking great pictures in lowlight, but I did invest in 2 more additional lenses that I am extremely happy with. One setback with this camera is that it doesnt have a built in viewfinder. I also brought the hotshoe mounted view finder which works great but at the same time you cant use it when you want to attach an external flash. That is pretty much my ONLY con about the E-P3 which shouldnt deter you from purchasing this product. I learned sooooo much with this camera and I will probably keep it around for as long as it will still function. One word of advice: Olympus does sell the Micro 4/3 to 4/3 adaptor that lets you attach more high grade lenses to it...dont do it. The cameras mechanism is too weak to operate and auto focus the larger lenses that are made for the bigger SLRs. Stick with the micro lenses since they do an excellent job. This camera does it all, from low light, to panning, to landscapes. Love this product.

I bought this camera to replace an older Canon DSLR. I wanted the versatility that s DSLR provides without the weight and size. For me, I found that my older camera was too heavy and bulky to be convenient to carry around everyday. The Olympus E-P3 PEN has been the perfect solution for me. It is so light and small that I carry it around a lot more then I did before. I like the ease of the filters and different scene modes when I'm not using the manual modes. And the touch scene shooting is awesome.

The camera is easy to use and has more excellent functions than I expected. The white color is absolutely charming.It has very fast auto-focus that is very convenient while travelling.

I use the camera for family photos and for my kids' school events. It is small and light weight but still takes great photos. I really like the silver body. The art filters make even my photos look cool.

The definition of the images are incredible. I love how fast it is to focus the image and to take the photos. The lenses are fantastic because they aren't heavy at all so it's really easy to carry on.
