A: So you need to convert both the sdi signal and data signal to a fiber signal. I prefer using a Thor 1-Channel Mini HD-SDI Single-Mode Fiber Optic Extender Kit for each Marshall Camera, but that is just me. It mux’s both signals to one fiber and demux’s at the other end. A: You will only be able to record up to 8K 30P internally without an external power source. Since the USB-C port is already being used to connect the camera to the Manfrotto MVG300XM Modular Gimbal, you will have to use the Canon DR-E6C DC Coupler for EOS R5 C to power the camera for shooting above 8K 30P. UInfortuantly this may make operation difficult.
