The Alto Professional Bluetooth Ultimate is an easy-to-use, Bluetooth receiver with dual XLR outputs, which enables you to stream high-quality stereo audio wirelessly to a mixer or a powered loudspeaker, at a range up to 100'. Just plug the unit into the XLR inputs of your mixer or powered speakers, pair your Bluetooth playback device, and you're ready to go.

The Bluetooth Ultimate allows for partially wired stereo playback. When the Mono/Stereo switch is in the Stereo position, the Main XLR connector plugs into your left speaker and outputs the left audio channel, while the Second XLR connector connects to your right speaker via an XLR cable (available separately) and outputs the right audio channel. You can also wirelessly link two Bluetooth Ultimates for cable-free stereo playback.

The built-in, rechargeable battery keeps the unit running for over 6 hours with a recharge time up to 4 hours.

When one unit is connected to Bluetooth and the Mono/Stereo switch is in the Stereo position, the main XLR output will send the left audio channel, and the second XLR output will send the right audio channel.
When one unit is connected to Bluetooth and the Mono/Stereo switch is in the Mono position, both the main XLR output and second XLR output will send the mono summed Left and Right channels.
When two units are Stereo-Linked and connected to Bluetooth, the Mono/Stereo switch has no function. Both the Main XLR output and second XLR output of the primary unit will send the left audio channel, and both the Main XLR output and second XLR output of the secondary unit will send the right audio channel.

A: While you could use this as just an amp for an atmos setup, you can probably find a dedicated amp for less that might suit your needs. I don't believe the unit has an auto on function, so you would probably need to leave it on 24/7 or have a universal remote with a macro to turn it on when you turn on your reciever, or use the included remote but who wants to add more remotes to the mix. You also waste all the features like Bluetooth and multiple inputs if used like that, I mean you could use them but you just as likely have all those features on your atmos receiver. About the only advantage of this amp is it powers 2 zones simultaneously, so if it was powering your fronts, you could wire up a second room as well for when playing music.
