Attaching to the top rear of the C500 Mark II or C300 Mark III, this U-shaped Tilta Top Plate allows you to mount accessories onto the top of the camera. It provides multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with locating pins for securely attaching your accessories.

This plate is also used to attach the optional Tilta powered battery plate for these cameras, and it comes included with the battery plate. It's also part of the Tilta cage for the C500 Mark II/C300 Mark III.

A: No, using the Pearstone 3.5mm Stereo Male to Female Extension Cable, or any standard 3.5 extension cable, won't work because it doesn't have the necessary data connections that allow the handgrip to communicate with the camera.

A: It has a built in Z-Rail perfect for adding the Zacuto Tactical Handle. Or if desired, you can reattach your Canon Handle to the plate. If you opt to use Canon's camera handle, and need to mount an Axis for a Gratical EVF, you can mount the Z-Rail Axis mount to the front of your top plate and it will give you a 15mm quick release rod port to mount the Axis Mini, EVF Mount.
