Q: 5. Would a D850 with 500pf lens be too heavy or too long to use with this system?

A: The Nikon D850 and the 500mm f/5.6 PF would not be too heavy for use with the Cotton Carrier Slingbelt system typically, but length-wise, it might be cumbersome depending on the range of motion you require.

Q: 6. will sling belt work for Nikon D780 and 70-300mm (f4.5-f5.6 ) ?

A: Yes, it well. :) Any lenses that you have that might be slightly larger/heavier than the 70-300mm might also be supported by the Slingbelt.

Q: 7. Can you tell me how much weight it can support?

A: not specified by Novoflex but but sure up to 4lbs

Q: 8. does it produce sound?

A: The camera is crank 35mm moving film camera. It does not record sound. If you are referring to the sound the camera might make while recording, it is very minimal.

Q: 9. Do these masks scan the sprockets/film borders?

A: No, the Negative Supply Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 does not scan the sprocket holes/boarder on film. This does for 35mm, https://bhpho.to/46BBKJJ.

Q: 10. If the camera can only shoot 144 frames per roll, does that mean for each 6 seconds (standard 24fps) video, we have to switch a new roll?

A: The film is actually around 4-6 fps max. It's hand cranked so there's no way you get 24fps. A film roll actually gives about 30 seconds of film. Think of it more like an old silent movie type rate. I got an 8 scecond sequence from 22 frames as an example.
