A: Hi Frederick. This kit will work with LC and SC connectors, but is not intended for use with expanded beam. I apologize as the B&H description is a bit inaccurate on this one. This kit is intended for connectors utilizing 1.25mm or 2.5mm ferrules- LC (1.25) and SC and ST (2.5). It does not include any spray cleaners used with expanded beam. For expanded beam, check our our "FIBERCLEAN-3" kit. We don't currently offer one single kit with all of the necessary cleaning equipment for both SC connectors and expanded beam connectors. A: No, the old gray cube charger is for Lead Acid batteries and is not compatible with the new batteries.It can create pitting on the batteries which can make the batteries unstable.
