A: Although the Zhiyun WEEBILL-S Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer can balance and stabilize the Nikon D3500 DSLR Camera, there won't be control of the camera through the gimbal.

A: Yes it will however you may need an offset plate and/or counter weight if you choose to use a long or heavy lenses.

Q: 3. For the Weebill S gimbal - what kind of plate does it accept? arca swiss or manfrotto. can i remove the quick release adapter and put my own?

A: On the Zhiyun-Tech WEEBILL-S Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer, a two plate system is provided. The large plate is a manfrotto 501 style plate, and the smaller plate is Arca-type compatible.

Q: 5. Can I use this with my Canon Vixia HF M500?

A: Yes you can. Typically this kind of stabilizer is designed for mirrorlesss or DSLR cameras however the Canon M500 is compact enough to balance on this gimbal and work effectively.

Q: 6. Does this accommodate the Weebill 2?

A: This is specifically designed for the Weebill S and we have not tested this with the "2".

Q: 7. Does it work w/ Arca-Swiss QR plates? How about the Peak Design dual plate that B&H also sells?

A: Yes, the Zhiyun-Tech WEEBILL-S works with Arca-Swiss QR plates. It will not work with the Peak Design Dual Plate since that plate is just an Arca-Type plate.

Q: 8. Can the gimbal be charged through a power bank while in use?

A: We are not aware of this being able to work while connected to a power bank. Keep in mind that this system has a 12 to 14 Hour run time.

Q: 9. Will it support the height added from the battery grip for an a7r ii? Or at least when not using the briefcase configuration?

A: The current compatibility chart does not make mention of support for balance when using a battery grip. However it does have cameras like the D850 on this chart which are already a bit taller than the A7RII. Because of the inclusion of cameras like the D850 on this chart we believe it is possible it it will be able to balance an A7RII with a battery grip.

Q: 10. Will it work with the Sony a7III with 24-70 mm f/2.8 GM?

A: The Weebil-S has a 3lb load capacity and your set-up would weigh in closer to 3.3lbs. So it could work, but we would recommend stepping up to something like the Zhiyun WEEBILL-3 (BH #ZHWEEBILL3).
