A: This trigger features a Multi-Interface Shoe on top of the receiver to accept a Sony flash with the same connection. The interface that is connected to your laptop is the Multi-Terminal connection, which is basically a Micro USB slot. If you were to use this remote as a wireless shutter release, then that terminal would be needed in order to connect the receiver. Q: 4. Is this unit completely compatible with the Canon T5i EOS 700? I bought a Sigma EF 610 DG Super and was disappointed to find that there are several limitations with the T5i.

A: Don't know what limitations the Sigma Unit had with the T5i but for my use as a Real Estate Photographer, The Freewave has been wonderful - There are small places that me and my camera can not be in the same room and it has worked perfectly remotely - I also have elevated my camera on a pole and taken shots using the remote trigger and again it works perfectly for me. You may have an application that is different but in my case I highly recommend it
