This 36mm Round, Unmounted Baader CMOS-Optimized UV/IR Bandpass L Filter from Alpine Astronomical reflects harmful thermal radiation in the infrared spectral range and provides 98% transmission over the entire visible spectrum from 420-685nm. It also prevents blurred star imaging with red-sensitive digital and CCD/CMOS cameras. It features a Reflex-Blocker hard coating, which has been planeoptically polished, and has Life-Coat sealed coating edges. It is equally suitable for modern CMOS sensors as well as for older CCD camera technologies.
