This scanner has not let me down yet! It is very easy to use right out of the box it takes less than 5 minutes to set up. It has amazing imagery that creates great color. It's scans up to 35 papers per minute! Which is perfect for me I have a lot of large jobs. I think my favorite part is the hundred sheet document Auto feeder which can accommodate multiple paper sizes in one scan so I can put papers and receipts all in together! And from there you can create searchable PDFs and upload documents to the cloud. You can even convert uploaded documents to editable word documents. Another big plus it's wireless! The WorkForce ES-580W wireless duplex desktop document scanner is a must have for any home office. Super easy setup, pretty much plug in and use. You can easily scan to your smartphone, tablet, USB or online storage account from your desktop or your cellphone.
The huge feed tray is awesome, and it breezes through double sided documents. great rich color scanning, impeccable quality or scans. It can scan any document you have with ease including business cards and other smaller documents. The ability to create searchable PDFs and editable word or excel doc from your scans.
The 4.3" color touchscreen is very intuitive super easy to view, and the hotkeys to easily send to any of your online storage accounts.

Have been using this via WiFi for a couple of weeks, it has been performing very well. It handles all types of documents and photos well and has many scanning options. The installation was a bit complex, but works every time now. One other nitpick is that you have to scan the network and add the scanner in the scanning interface every time you launch the program, I would think it should remember it from instance to instance.

I was very impress with this scanner. It has saved me so much time and was easy to set up. I am two kids and full time job which sometimes requires me to work from home and this scanner came very handy. I saw I could scan 35 sheets at the same time which has me shock is very helpful also can be colored scanned.
It has some many features and one of them is that can be back sided scanned as well which saves me a lot of time and work. Is portable I take it home but most of the time keep it at work and some of my co-workers like this scanner they are glad is touch screen and adjustable. Do recommend.

My initial impression with this scanner was impressive. I love the look it of it. It was a lot smaller than I expected. All that was needed to get started was to plug the unit in. It was not necessary to connect any other wires. I installed the software on my computers and was ready to start. Using the scanner is pretty much self-explanatory.

Two-sided scanning is one of my favorite features. The scans come out crystal clear. I was very impressed with how fast it scans also. I did learn the hard way that you should pull out the document tray at the bottom when you are scanning documents, or it will spit them all over the place. What’s great is that you can scan it to your phone, computer, thumb drive or cloud drive. The touch screen is very easy to comprehend. If you are tired of your flatbed scanner or auto-feed that only scans one side, then is exactly what you need.

I have had this scanner for close to a week and i must say im rather impressed with it. The scanner itself is very compact, takes up very little space and fits perfectly on the corner of my desk. The set up was a breeze. There is no real assembly other than attaching the paper guide which slides right in. Once plugged in and powered on the large touchscreen is easy to read and use. Rather than run a wire across the room i chose to set it up for a wireless connection. Once in Wireless set up screen you just follow the prompts and you are up and running. I downloaded the Epson Smart Panel app for my iphone and ipad as well, set that up it works seamlessly with the scanner. The only real issue i had was setting up the scan to email server but that was more operator error than anything else. The last thing i set up was linking to cloud storage which was very easy to do.

I wanted to put the Duplex scanning speed to the test and i was amazed at how fast it can read both sides of the papers. This thing blew through 21 double sided pages faster than i ever expected it to. Alot of the small desktop scanners ive used in the past get jammed up after the first couple pages but i had no jamming issues whatsoever each time i scanned the 21 pages. I usually scan to my cloud accounts but i also scanned multiple things to my email and had no problems. The clarity of the scans is amazing. I am very impressed with this little scanner and it will be getting quite a bit use. i would definitely recommend this scanner.

Just recently got my hands on the ES=580W desktop ADF scanner. In my experience with this scanner, this is one amazing piece of computer equipment that belongs on your desk if you scan a lot of paperwork.

This scanner is just packed with features: Scan to a USB drive without using a computer, 100 sheet document feeder, fast duplex scanning in one pass, great image quality, wireless hookup, A feed detection system that detects when multiple sheets have been fed thru the scanner at one time, scanning of multiple page sizes, and some smart software that allows you the versatility to handle the scanned pages any way you so desire, and a 4.3” color LCD touchscreen built into the unit, small footprint.

The feed detection system is another great feature. It detected every time when I forced it to feed more than one page at a time, paused the scanning process, waited for me to clear the misfeed, and then continued right where it left off.

The speed of this unit is also amazing. It scans double-sided color in one pass and does it at about 37ppm. The included software allows you to send the scans to phone, cloud, tablets, and computers so is quite flexible.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this Epson ES-580W scanner for anybody. It will handle all your scanning needs for a good time stretch into the future.

This is great for scanning letters, documents , letters and so much more. You can set it up for double sided scanning and it even skips blank pages . This is perfect for my everyday needs , It scans everything very quickly . Getting it setup and ready to go was a pain though. My biggest issue was the software, it's ok . At first I constantly lost connection when connected to wifi , so I had to turn everything off and back on several times. After that it was good to go .
With this Epson scanner I just load the paper and set the destination to where I want to scan it . I love that it's also wireless , I can use this product from the app on my phone , when I'm not near my computer. So far I haven't experienced any paper jams . The touchscreen is was to navigate everything quickly. The only thing I haven't tried so far is scanning directly to a USB memory drive without having to use my computer . I'm pretty sure I will need to sooner or later , that's a cool feature . Overall I'm very satisfied with this amazing scanner and it doesn't take up much counter space. For its installation you have to read the instructions well, it is quick and easy, you must download the application on your mobile to be able to see what you scanned there if you wish or scan from there, it gives you the option of which side of the page you want to scan, If you want it in color, in PDF, what format does the sheet have and other options, its connection is via wifi, its screen is touchscreen which makes it friendly and its ability to contain sheets is very good
The scanner is the best, its speed to scan your sheets on both sides at the same time is incredible, the sharpness is absolutely great, no matter the size of what you want to scan, it adapts very well to the format, it is easy to use from its touch screen to its application on your mobile, its size is compact so it does not take up much space on my desktop.
