Simply lay your equipment on the foam, tape or chalk to mark the foam, and pluck away. Always allow at least 1" of foam between your equipment and the wall of the case.

A: The bottom layer is given at 1.0 (2.54 cm), the three thick Pick 'N Pluck foam sections are 2.0 (5.08 cm), and the textured egg crate foam section on top is 0.75 (1.905 cm) at its thinnest and 1.25 (3.175 cm) at its thickest.

A: You can stop half way, pluck just enough to fit the item so that it is secure and does not move when shipping and moving the case.

A: The lock go on either side of the latches by the handle. It is a great case to protect the camera gear.

A: We did not buy this case for the purpose of carrying around equipment. We took out the foam and installed testing equipment into the case. We have two cases, both with sensitive equipment inside, and it works very well for the security of the equipment.

A: You could fit at least 2 of the AD600 lampheads in this Pelican 1600TP Case, but not 3.

A: Yes the Pelican 1556 can safely hold camera gear that is checked in.
