The Left-Side NATO Safety Bracket for Canon C70 from Wooden Camera offers protection, a detachable cable clamp, and multiple accessory mounts for your camera. This cage component mounts on the separately available Top Plate for C70. The bracket incorporates a NATO rail with safety pins on both ends, five 1/4"-20 threads, and two ARRI-style 3/8"-16 threads for attaching accessories such as handgrips.

This replaces another of this same model that I have used almost daily for many years. For me it is the ideal way to carry a camera while birding, hiking. skiing or just walking. I have carried both a DSLR with large and heavy telephoto lens and a lighter "superzoom" camera. It works great for both. I use the "left" model because I prefer to grab the camera/lens and bring it up to my eye with my left hand then shoot with my right, especially the heavy DSLR-Telephoto. 5

While in New York, I stopped by B&H to look at some equipment and talk to the experts. (Saved me from spending money on something that wasn't going to meet my need, unrelated to the strap.) The helped select this strap, which is extremely comfortable and allows the camera to hang below my waist so I can rest my hand on the camera for added safety.� �The strap comes with an additional tether strap for safety so no need to buy a separate one.� �� B&H even removed the old strap while in their store so I didn't have to do this on the street.� �� This is a very comfortable strap that you wear on the opposite shoulder from where your camera hangs. 5
